This work arises from concerns left by experiences during the initial training course in the degree in biological sciences, related to supervised internships. Internship for students is defined as a supervised school educational act, which aims to learn professional skills and must integrate the political-pedagogical projects of teacher training courses. However, the reality of the courses and their supervised internships have issues of important discussion. The way in which the curricula are structured mainly present subjects of an exclusively theoretical nature, without relationships between them, nor elucidations of their connections with the reality that originate them. The internship, in most cases, is about complying with legal requirements, disconnected from the academic context and the pedagogical project of the courses, whose evaluation stages are summarized in the rendering of accounts and registration of activities, in the so-called final reports, without that the participation and analysis of the students themselves about their experiences should be considered, forgetting that it is in practice the moment of carrying out their processes of personal identification and affirmation as subjects of action. Therefore, this research analyzed narratives of experience about the mandatory supervised internship prepared by graduates of the undergraduate course in biological sciences at UNESP in São José do Rio Preto, to try to understand from their perspective, the impact of this moment on the process of their constructions. as education professionals, identifying their initial experiences at school, as well as their emotional, personal and social dimensions. In this sense, the use of narrative provides a valuable alternative as a qualitative methodological tool, where the narrator brings in his speech the singular and, at the same time, the mark of culture and historical context, favoring the meeting of the individual and the collective, the breaking with alienation and strengthening the relational subject. In narrative analysis, researchers collect descriptions of events, organize and synthesize them so that together they build a coherent plot, with scientific arguments within the topic of study. The result of this narrative analysis is a retrospective narrative that seeks to bring explanations, associating possible reasons or previous events with the end of the story, with the reasons behind what happened. Therefore, I intend with this work to bring notes that contribute to reflections on initial teacher training courses and the importance of rethinking supervised internships.
