Resumo

Objective was to evaluate the impact of the inclusion of cottonseed and crude glycerin in multiple supplements for finishing cattle in the rainy season on productive and economic performance increased weight for slaughter. 40 cattle, Nellore bulls were randomly divided into 4 groups that received a median offer of 0.75 % of body weight in supplements, based in the standard formulation (SP), inclusion of 15 % crude glycerin (GLIC), inclusion of 25 % cottonseed (CA) or inclusion of 15 % crude glycerin and of 25 % cottonseed (CAGLIC). There was no influence (p>0.05) on performance, hot carcass weight and carcass yield. The increase in slaughter weight was favorable economically, regardless of the formulation used, although higher profitability has been achieved by providing CAGLIC supplement given to the lower cost of the supplement and maintenance performance. Income can vary according to the price of ingredients, standards, these factors must be considered for the development of multiple supplements for fattening cattle in the pasture during the rainy season.
