Resumo
As migrações acontecem desde a antiguidade, contudo as mulheres só foram inseridas nos dados e na literatura a partir da década de 1970, mesmo que migrassem com suas famílias ou sozinhas e correspondessem a uma boa parcela de imigrantes. Atualmente, o número de mulheres migrantes equivale a quase metade das migrações internacionais. O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi o de analisar como a literatura descreve a imigração da mulher no estado de São Paulo no século XX e XXI. Para tanto, realizou-se um levantamento da literatura que aborda a questão das migrações das mulheres na localidade estudada, além do uso de fontes documentais e primárias. Em seguida analisou-se como essa produção acadêmica retrata a situação da mulher estrangeira na sociedade de destino, mais especificamente no estado de São Paulo. Pode-se perceber que a localidade de estudo foi bastante buscada pelas mulheres migrantes estrangeiras, essas ocupam na maioria das vezes um cargo a margem da sociedade, secundarizada pelo papel do homem em diversos setores, o mesmo ocorreu com a literatura até a década de 1970. A mulher sempre esteve presente nos dados e sociedades, é importante ressaltar e contribuir para o estudo sob sua ótica compreendendo quais as particularidades delas, mesmo que pelo fato de não haver muitos estudos sobre, seja necessário ainda rever estudos que não possuem a ótica de gênero para então dar protagonismos aos seus papeis.
Migration has taken place since antiquity, however, women were only included in the data and in the literature from the 1970s onwards, even if they migrated with their families or alone and corresponded to a good portion of immigrants. Currently, the number of female migrants is equivalent to almost half of international migrations. The objective of the present research was to analyze how the literature describes the integration of migrant women in the state of São Paulo in the 20th and 21st centuries. Therefore, a bibliographic review was carried out in order to better unsderstand women migration flows on the specific location, in addition to the use of documentar and primary sources. Next, it was analyzed how this academic production portrays the situation of foreign women in the destination society, more specifically in the State of São Paulo. It is possible to affirm that women sought after this precise location and there they usually occupied a marginal position society. Their role was secondary different economics sectors comparison to men and this can be observed within the literat until 1970s. Women have always been present in data and societies, it is important to highlight and contribute to the study from their point of view, understanding their particularities, even though, due to the fact that there are not many studies about them, it is still necessary to review studies that do not have a gender perspective in order to give protagonism to their roles.
