Resumo
As Redes Neurais Artificiais (RNAs) possuem destaque, atualmente, ao serem
treinamento.
estudos. As Redes Neurais Artificiais (RNAs) possuem destaque, atualmente, ao serem

Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) are currently highlighted as they are used for classification, grouping, recognition and prediction of patterns, having several applications in different areas such as voice recognition, facial recognition, disease diagnosis, weather forecasts, among others. These are computational techniques inspired by the functioning of the human brain, whose main objective is the learning of tasks seeking to solve complex problems, from unique properties, including high fault tolerance and the ability to generalize from training data. In the scope of pattern prediction, when alone or associated with other Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, studies show that ANNs are assertive in predicting the biological activity of compounds, facilitating laboratory tests for the discovery of new drugs in the field of pharmacology. In this way, the present project aims to carry out a review of works on the application of RNAs, associated or not to other AI techniques, aimed at predicting the biological activity of the most varied compounds, in order to highlight the benefits brought by these techniques for these studies.
