Resumo
A emergência que os problemas ambientais evocam na atualidade tem obrigado as sociedades ocidentais contemporâneas a refletir e a questionar suas posturas, formas de agir, viver e pensar o mundo. A relação sociedadenatureza está em xeque, e, na busca de novos caminhos para se repensar a realidade, a Educação Ambiental, torna-se uma importante alternativa para que melhoremos a qualidade de vida de todos os seres vivos. Neste trabalho, procuramos olhar para a Educação Ambiental no ensino superior, posto que este nível de ensino é um importante espaço de produção do conhecimento em nossa sociedade. Assim, para entendermos melhor o processo de incorporação da temática ambiental no nível superior, voltamos nosso olhar para os cursos superiores de Turismo do Estado de São Paulo, pois esta é uma atividade que apresenta contínuo e notável crescimento em todo o mundo e que, muitas vezes, por estar se expandindo provoca danos ambientais graves exigindo que os profissionais formados para atuarem nesta área levem em consideração às questões ambientais em sua prática profissional. Apoiados no referencial da “indústria cultural” de Adorno e Horkeimer (1985), nas considerações de Leff (2001;2003) sobre a “construção do saber ambiental”, e nas proposições da Rede Aces sobre o conceito de “ambientalização curricular”, constatamos que a temática ambiental é considerada como um conhecimento válido (GIMENO, 2000a, 2000b) na formação dos bacharéis em Turismo na quase totalidade dos cursos analisados. Por meio da coleta de dados em documentos e entrevistas, e utilizando o método da “análise de conteúdo” proposto por Bardin (2004) para a análise dos dados, obtivemos fortes indícios de que a temática ambiental é trabalhada em grande parte dos cursos analisados, porém esta ainda...
The emergence that the environmental problems evoke in the present has been obliging the western contemporary societies to consider and questioning his postures, the forms of acting, living and thinking the world. The relation society-nature is in sheikh, and, in the search of new ways in order that rethinks the reality, the Environmental Education, becomes an important alternative that improve the quality of life of all the lively beings. In this work, we try to look at the Environmental Education in the higher education, although this level of teaching is an important space of production of the knowledge in our society. So, to understand better the process of incorporation of the environmental issue in the higher education, we turn our glance for the degree courses of Tourism of the State of Sao Paulo, because this is an activity that presents continuous and notable growth in whole world and that, very often, because of being in expanding provokes environmental serious damages demanding what the professionals formed to act in this area take into account to the environmental questions in his professional practice. Supported in the referential system of the “cultural industry” of Adorno and Horkeimer (1985), in the considerations of Leff (2001; 2005) on the “construction of the environmental knowledge”, and in the propositions of the Rede Aces on the concept of “ curriculum greening”, we note that the environmental theme is considered a valid knowledge (GIMENO, 2000a, 2000b) in the formation of the alumni in Tourism in almost totality of the analysed courses. Through the collection of data in documents and glimpsed, and using the method of the “analysis of content” proposed by Bardin (2004) for the analysis of the data, we obtained strong signs of which the environmental issue is worked in great part of the analysed courses, however...
