Mudanças climáticas de curto prazo: tendência dos regimes térmicos e hídricos e do balanço hídrico nos municípios de Ribeirão Preto, Campinas e Presidente Prudente (SP) no período de 1969-2001

Resumo
O presente trabalho pode ser classificado como uma pesquisa de cunho estatístico-climatológico. As localidades de estudo são os municípios de Ribeirão Preto, Campinas e Presidente Prudente, no Estado de São Paulo. O objetivo principal do trabalho foi averiguar se, no período de 1969 a 2001, na escala local, ocorreram alterações significativas na tendência dos regimes térmicos e hídricos e na tendência dos elementos obtidos pela contabilização do balanço hídrico (deficiência hídrica e excedente hídrico), se tais alterações podem ser indícios de mudanças climáticas de curto prazo e ainda, se é possível detectar a tendência de tal processo. Utilizou-se de dados meteorológicos (precipitação e temperatura média) decendiais, mensais e anuais coletados junto às estações climatológicas de primeira ordem das localidades em análise. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que, na localidade de Ribeirão Preto houve tendência de brusca diminuição na precipitação (120,37 mm), destacando-se o mês de outubro, o qual apresentou uma notável tendência de diminuição na reta da ordem de 90,2 mm. No que se refere à tendência da temperatura média anual, ocorreu um aumento da ordem de 0,5°C na mesma. Com o processamento do balanço hídrico, verificou-se tendência de aumento na deficiência hídrica (49,68 mm) e a maior tendência de queda no excedente hídrico (135,4 mm) dentre as demais localidades estudadas. Na localidade de Campinas, constatou-se tendência de aumento na precipitação anual (78 mm) e também, tendência de aumento na temperatura média anual (0,4°C). Na contabilização do Balanço Hídrico, ocorreu tendência de aumento na deficiência hídrica da ordem de 21,63 mm e também, tendência de aumento no excedente hídrico da ordem de 114,7 mm. This work can be classified like a statistic-climatology research. The localities of the investigation are the counties of Ribeirão Preto, Campinas e Presidente Prudente, in São Paulo State, Brazil. The main purpose was to examine if, in the period of 1969 to 2001, in the local scale, there were significant changes in the tendency towards the temperature and rainfall regimes and in the tendency towards the elements got through the water balance process (water excess, water deficiency), if these changes can be signs of climate change in a short period and if it is possible to identify the tendency of the process. Meteorological dates of rainfall and average temperature (decendly, monthly and yearly) were used, all of them collected in climate station of first order. The results of the research showed that in Ribeirão Preto a tendency towards the decrease in the rainfall (120,37 mm) occurred. A very notable tendency towards the decrease in the rainfall also occurred in October (90,2 mm). There was a tendency towards increase in the average yearly temperature (0,5 °C). While processing the water balance, a tendency towards the increase in the water deficiency (49,68 mm) and towards the decrease in the water excess (135,4 mm) was verified. In the mentioned county, we had the highest tendency towards the decrease in the rainfall and in the water excess between other localities. In Campinas, the tendency towards the increase in yearly rainfall (78 mm) and also, a tendency towards the increase in the average yearly temperature (0,4 °C) was known.
