Resumo
A presente pesquisa debruça-se sobre a obra poética de Katerina Gógou (1940-1993), moderna poeta grega, autora que viveu intensa militância política ligada à esquerda radical da Grécia e apresentou, até meados da década de 1990, um conjunto de textos que não só reflete sua militância como também lida com as vanguardas europeias dos anos 1920, em especial o Surrealismo. Propomo-nos tanto a apresentar essa autora para o público brasileiro por meio da tradução de uma consistente antologia de sua obra poética, como também formular uma série de análises de seus textos nos quais subsistem elementos que julgamos suficientes à construção de um processo de autoficção detectável em sua poesia. Se, por um lado, a suposta presença de elementos biográficos em sua obra facilitou a difusão de sua poesia, dado o sucesso anterior que experimentara como atriz, por outro lado, por um período de vinte anos, dificultou a circulação de seus poemas entre a crítica especializada. O que este trabalho busca discutir é que os elementos mobilizados pela autora são muito mais literários que biográficos. Por fim, dada a necessidade imposta pela análise dos textos poéticos, apresentaremos a tradução do manifesto vanguardista de Yiórgos Theotokás. Grande parte dos textos tratados nesta tese, quais sejam, os de Gógou e de Theotokás, são traduzidos para o português pela primeira vez.
The present research intends to focus on the poetic oeuvre of Katerina Gogou (1940- 1993), a modern Greek poet and author that lived intense political militancy linked to Greece’s radical left-wing political parties, presenting until the early 1990’s, a form of writing that not only reflects her militancy but also deals with the European vanguards from the 1920’s, especially the Surrealism. We propose not only to present this author to a Brazilian public by a consistent anthology of her writings, but also to formulate a series of analysis of her texts in which exist elements that we deem sufficient for the construction of a detectable process of self-fiction in her poetry. Thus, if on the one hand the presence of biographical elements in her oeuvre facilitated the marketing of her poetry, given the previous success that the writer had had as an actress, on the other hand, for twenty years, it prevented the circulation of her poems among the specialized criticism. At least, due to the imposed need of her poetry analysis, we also present a translation of the vanguard manifesto of Yorgos Theotokas. The major part of the texts discussed in this thesis i.e., the ones by Gogou and by Theotokas, are both translated to Portuguese for the first time.
