Resumo
Historicamente relegadas à subordinação do homem, na constituição das sociedades patriarcais, restou às mulheres a desvalorização. No contexto rural brasileiro, o apagamento de suas narrativas é ainda mais acentuado. A ciência geográfica, por sua vez, com bases masculinas, eurocêntricas e brancas, acaba por universalizar a experiência dos sujeitos no mundo, levando ao esquecimento quem não compartilha dessa identidade neutralizante. Isso posto, indo na contramão desses processos, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo visibilizar a luta e resistência das mulheres assentadas no contexto rural brasileiro - bem como os espaços que produzem na luta pela terra. O trabalho caminha por um entrelace da geografia com toda a potência difusora, documental, artística e, ao mesmo tempo, de denúncia da fotografia. E é através das lentes das geo-foto-grafias, que aqui os olhares das geografias feministas apresentam as perspectivas das mulheres assentadas do município de Araras (SP), que participaram dessa pesquisa qualitativa. Registrando a partir de suas próprias representações o que pra elas é ser uma mulher rural, junto também de relatos dados nas entrevistas, complementando as discussões sobre as relações de poder que existem e ainda se mantêm no campo. Visando divulgar essas perspectivas de luta, vida, trabalho e cuidado, em prol de seu reconhecimento.
Historically relegated to male subordination in the formation of patriarchal societies, women were left undervalued. In the Brazilian rural context, the erasure of their narratives is even more pronounced. Geographic science, in turn, with its male, Eurocentric, and white foundations, ends up universalizing the experiences of individuals in the world, leading to the forgetting of those who do not share this neutralizing identity. That said, going against these processes, the present research aims to make visible the struggle and resilience of women settled in the Brazilian rural context, as well as the spaces they create in the fight for land. The work traverses an interweaving of geography with the full potential of diffusion, documentation, art, and, at the same time, photographic denunciation. Through the lenses of geo-photo-graphs, the perspectives of the settled women from the municipality of Araras (SP) who participated in this qualitative research are presented by the eyes of feminist geographies. Recording from their own representations what it means to be a rural woman to them, along with the accounts given in interviews, complementing the discussions about power relations that exist and still persist in the countryside. The aim is to disseminate these perspectives on the struggle, life, work, and care for the sake of their recognition.
