Resumo
Recorre-se ao trabalho artístico Caléndulas (2020), criado por Lucas
Gervilla e Soledad Rolleri para estabelecer relações entre memória,
esquecimento, ruínas e nostalgia, sempre com a mediação da arte. A
obra trabalha com a estética do abandono e utiliza o universo ruinoso
para se relacionar com o conceito de ruinofilia, criado por Svetlana
Boym (2011). Os diferentes conceitos de nostalgia propostos pela
autora russa também são debatidos no texto, bem como a ideia de
lejanía presente na obra Sin, de Samuel Beckett.
This article calls upon the artistic work Caléndulas (2020), created by Lucas Gervilla and Soledad Rolleri to establish relations between memory, oblivion, ruins and nostalgia, having arts as a mediator. The artwork deals with the aesthetics of abandonment and uses the ruinous universe to relate to the concept of ruinophilia, created by Svetlana Boym (2011). The different concepts of nostalgia proposed by the Russian author are also discussed in the text, as well as the idea of lejanía present in the work Sin, by Samuel Beckett.
