Resumo

The intensification of data collection, storage and processing by institutions calls attention to personal data protection. This basic applied research aims to verify, through a case study, the compliance between a public institution of technological education's data protection regulation instruments and the addressed by the General Data Protection Law (GDPR). The answers were collected by a structured questionnaire, being subsequently tabulated and processed. The results demonstrate the relationship between the institutional context and dimensions analyzed for the implementation of protocols, good practices and a privacy governance program that meets institutional policies.
