Abstract
The neotype of Lupinus villosus Willd., chosen on the suposition that the original collection had been lost during the destruction of the Berlin Herbarium (B) is rejected here. A lectotype is proposed based on the specimens of Willdenow's Herbarium (B-W), still extant.
