Abstract (english)
Studying mathematics has never been very attractive among students, except for those who dream of pursuing a career in the Exact Sciences. With this in mind, many researchers have sought, at various times in history, a way to teach mathematics in a way that appeals to the student; many of them sought as a solution the use of digital technologies, as is the case with GPIMEM researchers. However, this group's research goes beyond the use of technology in the classroom, and also discusses the ways in which it could enter the classroom environment, public incentive policies, teacher education, among other topics, related to teaching and learning mediated by digital technologies. In this paper we seek to understand, by analyzing publications by members of this group, how technologies have emerged in the context of teaching and learning and how they influence the way students learn and the way teachers teach. Following the qualitative research methodology, in a hermeneutic study, we sought to expose the group's conception of the use of Digital Technology in education, considering the problems faced and the declared benefits

Estudar matemática nunca foi algo muito atrativo entre os estudantes, além daqueles que sonham em seguir carreira na área das Ciências Exatas. Tendo isso em vista, muitos pesquisadores buscaram, em diversos momentos da história, um modo de ensinar matemática de forma que fosse atrativo ao aluno; muitos deles buscaram como solução o uso de tecnologias digitais, como é o caso dos pesquisadores do GPIMEM. No entanto, as pesquisas desse grupo vão além das questões de uso das tecnologias em sala de aula, discutindo também os modos pelos quais ela poderia adentrar o ambiente da sala de aula, as políticas públicas de incentivo, a formação de professores, dentre outros temas relacionados ao ensino e a aprendizagem mediados pelas tecnologias digitais. Neste trabalho procuramos entender, analisando publicações de membros desse grupo, como as tecnologias foram surgindo no contexto de ensino e aprendizagem e como elas influenciam o modo de o aluno aprender e o modo do professor ensinar. Seguindo a metodologia de pesquisa qualitativa, em um estudo hermenêutico, procuramos expor a concepção do grupo acerca do uso das TD na educação, considerando os problemas enfrentados e os benefícios declarados.
