A aprendizagem do conceito de funções de 1º e 2º graus

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo discutir a aprendizagem dos alunos do Ensino Médio sobre conceitos de função do 1º e 2º graus; compreender através de pesquisa bibliográfica a importância da aprendizagem do conceito de função na formação matemática do aluno e discutir a necessidade da compreensão de tal conceito. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo que foi realizado com a participação de um grupo de alunos, matriculados em uma turma do segundo ano do Ensino Médio, do período noturno, de uma escola pública estadual da cidade de Guaratinguetá/SP. Os alunos participantes foram escolhidos por intermédio da professora de Matemática da turma. Para a produção dos dados foi proposta uma atividade que foi desenvolvida pelos alunos. A presente pesquisa foi realizada durante o período em que este autor realizou a etapa de regência de seu estágio supervisionado. As análises dos dados apontam que os conceitos de funções de 1º e 2º graus estudados durante o 1º ano do Ensino Médio apresentam quesitos compreendidos e desenvolvidos, porem poderá ocasionar dificuldades na aprendizagem de conceitos futuros que demandam conhecimentos prévios destas funções.

This study aims to discuss the learning of high school students on concepts of function of the 1st and 2nd degrees; understand through bibliographic research the importance of learning the concept of function in the mathematical training of the student and discuss the need for contextualization of such concept. This is a qualitative study that was realized with the participation of a group of students, enrolled in a class of the second year of high school, the night period, of a public school in the city of Guaratinguetá / SP. The participating students were chosen through the group's Mathematics teacher. For the production of the data an activity was proposed that was developed by the students. The present research was conducted during the period in which this author performed the stage of conducting his supervised internship. The analysis of the data point out that the concepts of functions of 1st and 2nd degrees studied during the 1st year of high school present issues understood and developed, but may cause difficulties in learning future concepts that require prior knowledge of these functions.
