Revisão de processos na logística interna em uma empresa do segmento automotivo

Abstract

Organizations increasingly seek to develop market differentials, in which logistics positions itself as the sector responsible for adding value to the product, providing customer satisfaction through the efficiency of its operations. Such conduct demands the responsibility of planning and controlling to maintain the efficiency of the flow and hosting of goods and services. Therefore, it is understood that logistics is a strategic sector for organizations. The general objective of this article was, through the application of the action-research method, to propose a new logistics management system for a company in the automotive segment, with a focus on improving the loading and supply process. The activities were carried out based on an agenda organized together with the company's top management, for the five days of the workshop, each one containing different activities. A tour of the factory was carried out, with activities by the Kaizen teams and discussions on improvements in the work area and “hands on”, with their respective tests and reports. It was found that, with the use of traditional management tools, there were important improvements in the logistical performance of the observed company, reduction of its operating costs and, consequently, an increase in the company's profitability.
