Estamos vivendo em um mundo onde a energia proveniente de fontes fósseis ainda representa a maioria da cadeia energética dos países. E esse fato acarreta vários problemas negativos para a sociedade atual e ainda mais para as gerações futuras. Uma das soluções encontrada para essa diminuição da dependência de fontes não renováveis e poluentes, é a utilização da energia solar fotovoltaica e o presente trabalho tem como objetivo responder a seguinte pergunta: sistemas de energia fotovoltaica para autoprodução são financeiramente viáveis para hospitais públicos brasileiros? Com a finalidade de responder essa pergunta, foi proposto um dimensionamento fotovoltaico no Hospital Regional de Primavera – SP e analisada a viabilidade financeira para esse caso. A partir da análise foi concluído que o projeto é tecnicamente e financeiramente viável com uma expectativa de payback de 6 anos e 2 meses. O trabalho como um todo contribuí para futuras pesquisas no que tange a utilização de energia fotovoltaica em hospitais públicos no Brasil
Abstract (english)
As is well known, we are living in a world where energy from fossil sources still represents the majority of the countries' energy chain. And this fact entails several negative problems for today's society and even more so for future generations. One of the solutions found for this decrease in the dependence on non-renewable and polluting sources is the use of photovoltaic solar energy and the present work aims to answer the following question: are photovoltaic energy systems for self-production financially feasible for Brazilian public hospitals? With the purpose of answering this question, a photovoltaic sizing was proposed at the Hospital Regional de Primavera - SP and the financial viability for this case was analyzed. From the analysis it was concluded that the project is technically and financially viable with a payback expectation of 6 years and 2 months.The work as a whole contributes to future research regarding the use of photovoltaic energy in public hospitals in Brazil
