Resumo
Since the end of the 20th century, urbanization has resulted in serious transportation problems, especially in developing countries. The migration of a part of the population from the central areas of the cities to peripheral neighborhoods has rooted socio-space-economic segregation and caused warning mobility problems. These problems, added to urban sprawl and conurbation, put the sustainability of the systems and the life of the planet at risk. Thus, it is necessary to intervene in the academy to conduct different research in the area to provide the transport systems and mobility of the necessary sustainability so that public policies can achieve sustainability pacts worldwide and local development. This chapter aims to deliver a systematic literature review on multi-criteria decision-making applied to sustainable urban transport.
