The University, a promoter of education, research, and extension, is a historical and ideological institution of social transformation. The research analyzes current institutional strategies and technological and sustainable practices. It highlights the importance of an organic and systemic vision in a world of interdependent datified ecologies, discussing the implementation of digital innovation ecosystems involving industry, universities, startups, and cultural change with agile methodologies. The study also examines the virtualization of education and the implementation of artificial intelligence to achieve the SDGs. A holistic and interconnected approach is proposed, integrating innovative methodologies and sustainable practices, allowing universities to better face global challenges and contribute to social progress.
