Fluidoterapia na manutenção do paciente nefropata: revisão de literatura

Abstract

Frequentemente, pacientes nefropatas apresentam distúrbios relacionados à hidratação, eletrólitos e do equilíbrio acidobásico. A fluidoterapia é um dos pilares no tratamento destes pacientes, sendo uma intervenção de suporte que tem como objetivo a correção desses desequilíbrios, entretanto o seu uso deve ser feito de forma racional. A escolha da terapia bem como a decisão de finalizá-la deve ser pautada em parâmetros laboratoriais e na evolução clínica no paciente de forma que o protocolo utilizado seja individualizado e receba constante reavaliação. O objetivo desta revisão é elucidar pontos importantes na fluidoterapia do paciente nefropata, de forma a torna-la coerente com a clínica do paciente e a progressão da patologia.

Often, patients with nephropathy have disorders related to hydration, electrolytes and acid-base balance. Fluid therapy is one of the pillars in the treatment of these patients, being a support intervention that aims to correct these imbalances, however its use must be done rationally. The choice of therapy as well as the decision to end it must be based on laboratory parameters and on the clinical evolution of the patient so that the protocol used is individualized and receives constant reassessment. The objective of this review is to elucidate important points in the fluid therapy of the nephropathy patient, in order to make it coherent with the patient's clinic and the progression of the pathology.
