Resumo
Este trabalho objetivou avaliar a ação do bisturi eletrônico sobre o ápice de dentes monorradiculares superiores, incisivos e caninos, extraídos de humanos, todos com rizogênese completa. Utilizou-se, como solução evidenciadora, o azul de metileno a 2%, em estufa biológica a 37ºC por sete (7) dias. Para tanto, foram usados 48 dentes, divididos em 6 grupos. No primeiro grupo, Grupo Controle, não foi usado o bisturi eletrônico no ápice. Todos os dentes foram apicetomizados a 2mm do ápice. Cinco grupos foram impermeabilizados sem fixação, após o uso do bisturi eletrônico no ápice, e colocados em solução evidenciadora. No outro grupo, a impermeabilização foi fixada em estufa biológica a 37ºC, por 24 horas. A análise dos resultados mostrou diferentes graus de infiltração do corante, evidenciando claramente as alterações na luz do ápice dentário, diretamente proporcional ao tempo de ação do bisturi eletrônico.
The aim of this paper is to evaluate the action of the electrocautery in the radicular apex of extacted humans superiors incisors and canines, all of them with completed rizogenesis. It was used 2% blue methylate as marker, in biological stove at 37ºC during 7 (seven) days. The experiment included 48 teeth, divided in 6 groups. At the control group the electrocautery wasn't used. All the teeth were apicoectomized 2 mm from the apex. Five groups were made impermeable without fixation, after the used of electrocautery in the apex and putted in the marker solution. In the other group, the teeth with the impermeable were fixed in the biological stove for 24 hours. The analysis of the results showed different levels of intiltration of the marker, making clear the alterations in the light of the dental apex, straightly proportional at the period of time that the electrocautery was used.
