Resumo
Este trabalho objetiva, em primeiro lugar, trazer uma contribuição para a compreensão da poesia do norte-americano Robert Creeley (1926-2005), e em segundo lugar, busca refletir sobre as principais características da poesia experimental escrita nos Estados Unidos, a partir da segunda metade do século XX, e suas relações de continuidade e ruptura tanto com a poesia do Alto Modernismo quanto com a poesia das últimas décadas do século XX e início do século XXI.
This dissertation aims, firstly, to bring some contributions to the comprehension of the North American poet Robert Creeley (1926-2005), and, secondly, to reflect upon the main characteristics of North American Experimental poetry, since the second half of the 20th Century , and its continuity and rupture relations with both, the High Modernist poetry and the poetry produced during the last decades of the 20th Century and the beginning of the 21st Century.
