Resumo
A psicanálise chegou ao Brasil no mesmo momento em que seu fundador, Sigmund Freud, consolidava e institucionalizava este saber no início do século XX na Europa. A implantação e difusão do saber psicanalítico no Brasil viabilizaram-se por meio do que se publicava e editava sobre a psicanálise como artigos, livros e periódicos durante o século XX. Ao final dos anos 1960, os psicanalistas associados às normas institucionais da International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA) e aportados nas teorias kleino-bionianas defendiam que a psicanálise tornava-se uma ciência consolidada e para tanto necessitava de um veículo oficial de expressão e divulgação deste saber no Brasil. Assim, fundaram em 1967 a Revista Brasileira de Psicanálise. Buscou-se nesta pesquisa analisar como este periódico produziu em suas páginas um discurso que elaborava representações de ciência, profissão e história. Além de objeto da pesquisa, a Revista Brasileira de Psicanálise serviu como fonte, apresentou um conjunto de textos compostos por artigos científicos, resumos, sinopses, imagens, noticiários, obituários e homenagens entre 1967 a 1986. Com efeito, inseridos numa realidade de censura, repressão e autoritarismo caracterizados pelo Regime Militar, os colaboradores da revista fizeram representações do saber psicanalítico como uma ciência específica diferente dos modelos clássicos, da profissão de psicanalista como um ofício altamente especializado garantido por uma formação em institutos e sociedades psicanalíticas e do seu passado histórico como herdeiros legítimos do fundador e dos pioneiros da psicanálise. Estas representações permitiram, sobretudo, identificar os mecanismos de controle e poder do grupo dirigente do movimento psicanalítico brasileiro
Psychoanalysis came to Brazil while its founder, Sigmund Freud, consolidated and institutionalized this knowledge in the early twentieth century in Europe. The implantation and diffusion of the psychoanalytic knowledge in Brazil were possible through articles, books, and journals on Psychoanalysis that were published and edited during the twentieth century. At the end of the 1960s, the psychoanalysts, whose theoretical basis was the Kleinian-Bionian and were associated with the institutional norms of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), argued that Psychoanalysis was becoming a consolidated science and, therefore, demanded an official vehicle to communicate and disseminate such knowledge in Brazil. The Revista Brasileira de Psicanálise was founded in 1967. This study aimed to analyze how this journal produced on its pages a discourse that elaborated representations of science, profession, and history. The Revista Brasileira de Psicanálise was not only our object of study, but it also served as a source. It presented a set of texts composed of scientific articles, abstracts, synopses, images, news, obituaries, and homages between 1967 and 1986. Effectively, inserted in a reality of censorship, repression, and authoritarianism, characterized by the Military Regime, the journal contributors represented psychoanalytical knowledge as a specific science, different from the classical models, from the profession of the psychoanalyst as a highly specialized occupation, guaranteed by psychoanalytic societies and institutes, and from the historical past as legitimate heirs of the Psychoanalysis founder and pioneers. Such representations allowed, above all, the identification of control and power mechanisms of the ruling group of the Brazilian psychoanalytic movement
