dc.description.abstractA relação entre a Educação Física Escolar e o Esporte passou por diversas transformações ao longo do tempo. As Atividades Curriculares Desportivas (ACDs) surgiram na rede estadual de educação do Estado de São Paulo em 2001, substituindo as antigas Turmas de Treinamento, reconfigurando o entendimento do Esporte Escolar. Considerando essa mudança e o novo contexto gerado, estabelecemos como objetivo central desse estudo: identificar, analisar e compreender a importância das turmas de ACDs na visão dos agentes envolvidos no processo (Professores, Diretores e Professora Coordenadora do Núcleo Pedagógico) sobre a legislação vigente e a realidade atual dessas atividades nas escolas estaduais pertencentes à Diretoria de Ensino de Jaú-SP. A presente pesquisa teve caráter qualitativo, caracterizado pelo estudo exploratório e análise documental. Utilizamos como instrumento investigativo o questionário. A pesquisa envolveu a análise descritiva dos documentos e a categorização de argumentos. Participaram da pesquisa 51 professores de Educação Física, 25 diretores de escola e 1 professora coordenadora do núcleo pedagógico vinculados a Diretoria de Ensino de Jaú-SP. Os resultados apontaram uma diminuição de turmas no período analisado em detrimento das mudanças da legislação que ocorreram. Os agentes envolvidos mostraram um conhecimento superficial da legislação, muitos com uma visão do esporte de rendimento, com foco na participação nos jogos escolares semelhante às antigas Turmas de Treinamento, enquanto outros apresentaram uma visão do esporte educacional voltada para a promoção da cidadania. Apesar das ACDs estarem há quase 19 anos nas escolas estaduais, sua permanência está em xeque. A perspectiva de futuro passará por uma definição clara da legislação dos seus objetivos e na superação dos problemas identificados pelos participantes deste estudo. Uma afirmação possível é que o Esporte sempre esteve e está presente nas escolas, mas necessita ser adequado a este contexto.pt
dc.description.abstractThe relationship between Physical Education and Sport at School has undergone several transformations over time. The Sports Curriculum Activities (SCA) emerged in the State Education Network of the State of São Paulo in 2001 replacing the old Training Classes and reconfiguring the understanding of school sports. Considering this change and the new context stated, the objective of this study is to identify, analyze and understand the creation of the SCA’s classes taking into account the standpoint of agents involved directly in the process (Teachers, Directors and the Coordinating teacher of the Pedagogical Nucleus), their point of view about the current legislation and the reality of these activities in state schools belonging to the Education Directorate of Jaú-SP. This research is qualitative, characterized by exploratory study and document analysis. The questionnaire was an investigative tool. The research involved an descriptive analysis of the documents and a categorization of the arguments. 51 physical education teachers, 25 school principals and 1 coordinating teacher from the pedagogical nucleus linked to the Jaú-SP Education Directorate participated in the research. The results showed a decreased number of classes in the period under analysis, due to the legislative changes that occurred. The agents involved showed a superficial knowledge of the legislation, many with a view of sport of performance, with a focus on participation in school games similar to the old Training Classes, while others presented a view of educational sport aimed at promoting citizenship. Although SCA’s have existed for nearly 19 years in state schools, their permanence is in check. The perspective of the future will involve a clear definition of the legislation of its objectives and in overcoming the problems identified by the participants of this study. A possible statement is that Sport has always been and is present in schools, but it needs to be adapted to this context.en
