O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC) discorre sobre o conceito de direito à cidade e de como esse direitos são acessados ou negados a depender de sua classe social, gênero e etnia. A desigualdade urbana se manifesta de diversas maneiras, como por meio da segregação socioespacial e da falta de infraestrutura, dito isso a pesquisa aborda como as mulheres de bairros periféricos são desproporcionalmente afetadas. Portanto, foi feita a escolha de investigar como as mulheres dos bairros BonSucesso e Jardim Novo Wenzel em Rio Claro/SP se mobilizam para alcançar os seus direitos e como elas criam redes de apoio entre si. Ademais, objetiva-se analisar como a mobilização social das mulheres, pela busca do exercício da cidadania, resulta no surgimento de redes de apoio capazes de enfrentar desafios presentes em suas vivências como mulheres periféricas e como a ONG Ps + Unidas contribui na formação dessas redes e auxilia as mulheres na busca por seus direitos, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e também através de entrevistas.

The present Undergraduate Thesis (TCC) discusses the concept of the right to the city and how this right is accessed or denied depending on one’s social class, gender, and ethnicity. Urban inequality manifests itself in various ways, such as through socio-spatial segregation and lack of infrastructure. In this context, the research addresses how women from peripheral neighborhoods are disproportionately affected. Therefore, the study focuses on investigating how women from the neighborhoods of BonSucesso and Jardim Novo Wenzel, in Rio Claro/SP, mobilize to secure their rights and how they create support networks among themselves. Furthermore, the objective is to analyze how women’s social mobilization, in the pursuit of exercising citizenship, leads to the emergence of support networks capable of addressing the challenges faced in their everyday lives as women from the periphery, and how the NGO Ps + Unidas contributes to the formation of these networks and assists women in the struggle for their rights, through bibliographic research as well as interviews.
