Benjamin e Agamben já haviam constatado a morte da experiência na modernidade: o capitalismo, as guerras e a mecanização da vida moderna extingue a possibilidade de experimentação. Neste sentido, busco, na brincadeira, a possibilidade de reavivar – pelo menos um pouco – a experiência, trazendo, assim, uma nova forma de pensar o mundo em que vivemos. A criação presente no ato de brincar, tanto na infância quanto na vida adulta, nos leva a repensar o contexto frágil em que vivemos. O aprendizado através do criar e do brincar não capitalizados e robotizados é motor para novas formas de pensar o mundo e também a nós mesmos. As discussões abordadas aqui partem de narrativas que me foram contadas sobre a infância dos meus pais e as formas de brincar que eles inventavam. Criar, inventar e reinventar tem a potência de nos fazer repensar as formas de viver e habitar o mundo.
Abstract (english)
Benjamin and Agamben had already noted the death of experience in modernity: capitalism, wars, and the mechanization of modern life extinguish the very possibility of experimentation. In this sense, I seek in play the possibility of rekindling, even if just a little, the experience, thus bringing forth a new way of thinking about the world we live in. The creative force present in the act of playing, both in childhood and adulthood, invites us to rethink the fragile context in which we live. Learning through forms of creation and play that are not capitalized or mechanized becomes a driving force for new ways of thinking about the world and about ourselves. The discussions presented here arise from narratives told to me about my parents’ childhood and the inventive ways they used to play. To create, invent, and reinvent carries the power to make us reconsider the ways we live in and inhabit the world.
