O trabalho pretende analisar as origens e o desenvolvimento do conceito de culpa na tradição filosófica ocidental, privilegiando autores que forma determinantes para o estabelecimento da doutrina do pecado original e para a concepção a recepção crítica desse legado cultural. Percorre- se através da exegese dos textos clássicos de filosofia e teologia, psicanálise e literatura, as formas como o conceito de culpa influenciou a cultura do ocidente.
Abstract (english)
The thesis intends to analyze the origins and the development of the concept of guilt in the western philosophical tradition, privileging authors that form determinants for the establishment of the doctrine of original sin and for the conception of the critical reception of this cultural legacy. Through the exegesis of the classic texts of philosophy and theology, psychoanalysis and literature, the ways in which the concept of guilt influenced Western culture.
