O trabalho do assistente social no âmbito do SUAS

Abstract

O presente estudo traz uma reflexão sobre o trabalho do assistente social nos serviços de proteção social do SUAS no município de Franca/SP. Inicia refletindo sobre a categoria trabalho como fundante do ser social e sua centralidade na vida do homem, dando sustentação para pensar no trabalho do assistente social, na sociedade capitalista. Discorre sobre o Serviço Social na divisão social e técnica do trabalho, bem como os processos de trabalho. Busca compreender junto aos assistentes sociais, sujeitos da pesquisa, os desafios do trabalho enquanto profissional, nos serviços do Sistema Único de Assistência Social. Apresenta a trajetória histórica da política de assistência social, a partir da Constituição Federal de 1988, visando compreender o Sistema Único de Assistência Social e suas diretrizes para estados e municípios. Discorre, ainda, sobre o trabalho do assistente social nessa política e a organização dos programas, projetos, serviços e benefícios, bem como o processo de reordenamento dos serviços socioassistenciais, tendo como referência o município de Franca/SP. Propõe ainda, a partir do movimento de reconceituação, refletir sobre a direção social do trabalho do assistente social nos diversos espaços de atuação no SUAS e as mediações que norteiam o trabalho profissional. Apresenta a dimensão educativa e sua interface com as dimensões teórica-metodológica, ético-política e técnica-operativa e os principais desafios a serem enfrentados pelo assistente social, enquanto trabalhador do SUAS.

The present study brings a reflection about the work of the social worker in the social protection services of SUAS in the city of Franca/SP. It begin with a reflection about the work category as the founder of social being and its centrality in the life of man, giving support to think about the work of the social worker in capitalist society. It discusses Social Work in the social and technical division of labor, as well as the work processes. It seeks to undertand with the social workers, research subjects, the challenges of work as a professional in the services of the Unified Social Assistance System. It presents the historical trajectory of social assistance policy, starting with the Federal Constitution of 1988, aiming to understand the Single System of Social Assistance and its guidelines for states and municipalities. It also dicusses the work of the social worker in this policy and the organization of programs, projects, services and benefits, as well as the process of reorganization of socio assistance services, based on the reference of the municipality of Franca/SP. It also proposes, based on the reconceptual movement, a reflection about the social direction of the work of the social worker on the multiple spaces of actuation on SUAS and the mediations that guides professional work. It presents the educational dimension and its interface with the theoretical- methodological, ethical- political and technical- operative dimensions and the main challenges to be faced by the social worker as a worker of SUAS.
