Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo discutir a importância de bebês de 0 a 3 anos estarem dentro das creches, trazendo a relação de cuidado e desenvolvimento, além de discutir a visão assistencialista que se tem em relação à educação infantil, e especificamente, em relação à educação de bebês. Em primeiro momento, foi apresentado um breve contexto histórico da criação das creches, bem como sua finalidade na época. Em seguida, foi apresentado a importância da relação entre professor(a) e bebê para o desenvolvimento infantil, e também como ferramenta para a superação do assistencialismo. Se trata de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, onde foram escolhidos alguns artigos, dissertações e teses que debatem os temas de educação infantil, desenvolvimento infantil, o cuidado na relação entre professor(a) e bebê, além de trazerem o debate sobre assistencialismo dentro da educação infantil e apermanência dessa visão em relação a essa etapa da educação.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this research was to discuss the importance of babies aged 0 to 3 being in daycare centers, bringing up the relationship between care and development, as well as discussing the welfare view that is held in relation to early childhood education, and specifically in relation to the education of babies. First, a brief historical context of the creation of nurseries was presented, as well as their purpose at the time. This was followed by a presentation of the importance of the relationship between teacher and baby for children's development, and also as a tool for overcoming childcare. This is a bibliographical study, in which some articles, dissertations and theses were chosen that debate the themes of early childhood education, child development, care in the relationship between teacher and baby, as well as bringing up the debate on welfare within early childhood education and the permanence of this view in relation to this stage of education.
