O papel do ensino agrícola: uma análise sobre a experiência do Colégio Agrícola de Franca

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma leitura não apenas sociológica, mas também histórico-crítica do modelo de “Colégio Agrícola” na cidade de Franca, isto é, uma análise do papel desempenhado por um Colégio na cidade, contrapondo seu modelo de gestão com o modelo de “Educação no Campo” gerido por movimentos sociais de luta pela terra. O ponto de partida do trabalho é investigar como se deu a criação desses modelos no país e em especial, no seio da cidade de Franca; como pôde se articular e também conversar com a vida rural do povo francano. Também é colocado em debate a personificação do Colégio Agrícola, sobretudo do ponto de vista histórico-crítico, que ampara os modelos de “Educação no Campo”. Com procedimento metodológico de levantamento de dados e de tabelas, o trabalho estudará e terá como resultados o fato que os colégios avançaram, e com eles o crescimento da cidade. Mostrará seu papel nos índices econômicos da mesma e em especial, como foi fundamental na vida de grandes corporações e como pôde não apenas alavancar o desenvolvimento humano e social da cidade, como auxiliar na formação alunos, professores, funcionários e egressos, apesar de suas contradições.

The present work aims to make a reading not only sociological, but also historical- critical of the “Colégio Agrícola” model in the city of Franca, that is, an analysis of the role played by a school in the city, contrasting its management model with the “Education in the Countryside” model managed by social movements fighting for land. The starting point of the work is to investigate how these models were created in the country and, in particular, in the city of Franca; how he was able to articulate and also talk to the rural life of the Franca people. The personification of the Agricultural College is also debated, especially from the historical-critical point of view, which supports the models of “Education in the Field”. With a methodological procedure for collecting data and tables, the work will study and result in the fact that the schools have advanced, and with them the growth of the city. It will show its role in the economic indices of the same and, in particular, how it was fundamental in the life of large corporations and how it could not only leverage the human and social development of the city, but also assist in the training of students, teachers, employees and alumni, despite its contradictions.
