Resumo
Despite the importance that the literature has attributed to Green Human Resource Management, in particular, to green training, there is still little research dedicated to this subject. In addition, the two research that carried out a systematic review on green training are already outdated, for example, the research by Stefanelli et al. (Benchmarking: An International Journal 27:2048-2076, 2020) mapped the publications available until 2018. Thus, the aim of this research was to carry out a systematic review of the literature on green/environmental training using the two main databases, Scopus, and Web of Science, as search platforms. We mapped the last 20 years of publication, synthesizing and systematizing the state of the art on the subject in order to find gaps and propose a robust research agenda for the future. In this sense, the main contribution of our work is the presentation of an agenda for future research with 10 recommendations for scholars who are interested in the subject. Furthermore, by mapping and systematizing the state of the art on the green/environmental training topic, we accumulate knowledge from various studies, facilitating the consultation and dissemination of information among professionals interested in the subject.
