Refletir sobre os direitos violados de crianças e adolescentes vítimas de abuso sexual é, antes de tudo, um ato de coragem e compromisso ético com a vida. Este estudo se debruça sobre a atuação das (os) assistentes sociais diante dessa dolorosa realidade no município de São Luís de Montes Belos/GO, especialmente no âmbito da Proteção Social Especial, por meio do trabalho desenvolvido no Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (CREAS). A investigação buscou compreender os desafios, limites e potencialidades que permeiam o fazer profissional diante de situações de violência sexual infantojuvenil, considerando a rede de serviços socioassistenciais e o sistema de garantias de direitos. A pesquisa foi conduzida a partir da abordagem qualitativa, alicerçada no método do materialismo histórico-dialético, o qual permite interpretar a realidade social em sua totalidade e historicidade, revelando contradições e expressões da questão social. Foram utilizadas três estratégias metodológicas: pesquisa bibliográfica, para aprofundamento teórico; pesquisa documental, com base nas normativas e legislações da Política Nacional de Assistência Social; e pesquisa de campo, realizada junto ao CREAS do município supracitado. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com três profissionais que compõem a equipe de referência da Proteção Social Especial. Os resultados evidenciam a complexidade do fenômeno da violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes e os múltiplos desafios enfrentados pelos profissionais no cotidiano do trabalho. Dentre os principais achados, destacam-se a fragilidade das políticas públicas, a sobrecarga de trabalho, a escassez de recursos humanos e materiais, e a necessidade de formação continuada e suporte institucional. Ainda assim, sobressaem a potência do compromisso ético e político das (os) assistentes sociais, sua escuta qualificada e atuação crítica, capazes de fortalecer o protagonismo das vítimas e suas famílias e de articular a rede de proteção de forma mais efetiva. Esta tese, portanto, propõe uma reflexão crítica e sensível sobre a prática profissional frente às violações de direitos, reafirmando a centralidade da proteção integral e o papel fundamental do Serviço Social na construção de uma sociedade mais justa, segura e humana para nossas crianças e adolescentes.

Reflecting on the violated rights of children and adolescents who are victims of sexual abuse is, above all, an act of courage and ethical commitment to life. This study focuses on the actions of social workers in the face of this painful reality in the city of São Luís de Montes Belos/GO, especially in the context of Special Social Protection, through the work developed at the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS). The research sought to understand the challenges, limits and potentialities that permeate professional work in situations of sexual violence against children and adolescents, considering the network of social assistance services and the system of guarantees of rights. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, based on the method of historical-dialectical materialism, which allows the interpretation of social reality in its entirety and historicity, revealing contradictions and expressions of the social issue. Three methodological strategies were used: bibliographical research, for theoretical deepening; documentary research, based on the regulations and legislation of the National Social Assistance Policy; and field research, carried out with CREAS of the aforementioned municipality. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with three professionals who make up the Special Social Protection reference team. The results highlight the complexity of the phenomenon of sexual violence against children and adolescents and the multiple challenges faced by professionals in their daily work. The main findings include the fragility of public policies, work overload, scarcity of human and material resources, and the need for ongoing training and institutional support. Even so, the power of the ethical and political commitment of social workers, their qualified listening and critical actions, capable of strengthening the role of victims and their families and of articulating the protection network more effectively, stand out. This thesis, therefore, proposes a critical and sensitive reflection on professional practice in the face of rights violations, reaffirming the centrality of comprehensive protection and the fundamental role of Social Services in building a more just, safe and humane society for our children and adolescents.
