Abstract
Abstract (english)
Construction materials have become the focus of research in construction, since a support is not sector has been widely requested. This work focused on waste with a very peculiar characteristic: materials that have in their composition the toxic waste. Therefore, a jatropha cake was made in the concrete and a mortar, and a lubricating oil in mortar, since both have in their composition harmful residues. The evaluation of the Jatropha curcas seed underwent mechanical strength tests and furthermore, as much as a seed as the lubricating oil has the behavior of the mortars before as studied toxins, that is, is a toxin became stable within the mortar or not . The conclusion is that the cement matrix manages to retain a large portion of the toxins present in its interior, preventing it from contaminating the surrounding environment.
