Fake news e memes na política: análise dialógica de enunciados sobre Manuela D’Ávila

Abstract

O impacto causado no cenário político advindo da disseminação de fake news nas redes sociais influenciou os processos de decisão da democracia brasileira, bem como de outras democracias ocidentais na última década. Diante dessa complexa problemática, marcada pela guerra cultural e pela retórica do ódio projetadas pela extrema direita, a presente pesquisa objetiva desenvolver uma análise dialógica sob uma perspectiva bakhtiniana de fake news e memes que se referem à Manuela D'Ávila no período de 2018 e de 2020. A escolha pela figura de D’Ávila relaciona-se com a pertinência em compreender o discurso sobre a mulher que está inserida na política, visto que as manifestações de ódio motivadas pelo gênero dentro do âmbito político são um dilema que persiste na conjuntura brasileira. Por meio das noções da Análise do Discurso Bakhtiniana, como signo ideológico, enunciado concreto e gênero do discurso, a pesquisa pretende investigar como as ideologias refratam a realidade social nestes enunciados. Para isso, a seleção do material se deu através de buscas no Facebook e na ferramenta de busca Google, através do uso do nome de D’Ávila em conjunto com adjetivos que definem as características e posicionamentos da ex-deputada, como por exemplo: “Manuela D’Ávila feminista”, “Manuela D’Ávila comunista”. Esses elementos, aliados ao nome de Manuela D’Ávila, nos permitiram chegar a 10 enunciados que se relacionam com os temas da religião, da subalternização da mulher e do posicionamento anti esquerda, sendo estes os eixos de análise do trabalho. As fake news foram retiradas da Agência Lupa (https://lupa.uol.com.br/) e E-farsas (https://www.e-farsas.com/) os memes extraídos das redes sociais Facebook, Reddit e Memedroid, totalizando em seis fake news e quatro memes. Além disso, a metodologia marcada pelo cotejo é mobilizada para esse trabalho com a intenção de interpretar os sentidos tecidos na cadeia de enunciados, relacionando assim fake news e memes entre si e com outros enunciados que nos permitam ampliar o contexto dos enunciados. Por ser uma pesquisa caracterizada pela perspectiva da análise dialógica do discurso, acredita-se na necessidade de analisar as formas constitutivas e de circulação desses enunciados verbo-visuais, pois tais aspectos são partes indissociáveis da unidade de sentido dos enunciados analisados. Por meio dos resultados da pesquisa, foi possível concluir que as fake news e os memes não se restringem somente ao fenômeno da desinformação ou da interação no ambiente digital, mas também se constituem como um problema social causado por visões de mundo extremistas que buscam aniquilar aquele que não participa do mesmo viés político. Em vista disso, a análise demonstrou também a tensão entre a existência de Manuela D’Ávila enquanto um centro axiológico e as forças políticas da extrema direita que conservam valores ideológicos das ideologias dominantes. Essa tensão expõe a problemática da violência política de gênero, que se intensifica em ambientes digitais nos quais circulam enunciados concretos que reforçam a hierarquia de gênero por meio de valores ideológicos que mantêm as ideologias dominantes como dominantes.

The impact caused in the political scenario by the dissemination of fake news in social networks has influenced the decision processes of the Brazilian democracy, as well as other Western democracies in the last decade. Facing this complex problematic, marked by the cultural war and the rhetoric of hate projected by the far right, the present research aims to develop a dialogical analysis under a Bakhtinian perspective of fake news and memes that refer to Manuela D'Ávila in the period 2018 and 2020. The choice for the figure of D'Ávila is related to the pertinence in understanding the discourse about women who are inserted in politics, since the manifestations of hate motivated by gender within the political sphere are a dilemma that persists in the Brazilian conjuncture. Through the notions of Bakhtinian Discourse Analysis, such as ideological sign, concrete utterance, and genre of discourse, the research intends to investigate how ideologies refract social reality in these utterances. For this, the selection of material was made through searches on Facebook and Google search engine, through the use of D'Ávila's name together with adjectives that define the characteristics and positions of the former deputy, for example: "Manuela D'Ávila feminist", "Manuela D'Ávila communist". These elements, together with Manuela D'Ávila's name, allowed us to reach 10 statements that relate to the themes of religion, women's subordination and anti-leftist position, being these the axes of analysis of the work. The fake news were taken from Agência Lupa (https://lupa.uol.com.br/) and E-farsas (https://www.e-farsas.com/) and the memes were extracted from the social networks Facebook, Reddit and Memedroid, totalizing in six fake news and four memes. Furthermore, the methodology marked by the collage is mobilized for this work with the intention of interpreting the meanings woven in the chain of statements, thus relating fake news and memes to each other and to other statements that allow us to amplify the context of the statements. For being a research characterized by the perspective of dialogic discourse analysis, we believe in the need to analyze the constitutive and circulation forms of these verb-visual enunciates, because such aspects are inseparable parts of the unity of meaning of the analyzed enunciates. Through the results of the research, it was possible to conclude that fake news and memes are not only restricted to the phenomenon of misinformation or interaction in the digital environment, but also constitute a social problem caused by extremist worldviews that seek to annihilate those who do not participate in the same political bias. In view of this, the analysis also demonstrated the tension between the existence of Manuela D'Ávila as an axiological center and the political forces of the extreme right that preserve ideological values of the dominant ideologies. This tension exposes the problematic of gender political violence, which intensifies in digital environments in which concrete statements circulate that reinforce gender hierarchy through ideological values that maintain dominant ideologies as dominant.
