Credibilidade e veracidade a partir da relação entre inteligência artificial e fact-checking

Abstract

Este estudo explora a relação entre inteligência artificial (IA) e credibilidade digital, com foco em fact-checking e noticiabilidade. São analisadas ferramentas automatizadas baseadas em algoritmos de processamento de linguagem natural (NLP) e aprendizado de máquina (Potthast et al., 2018; Lahoti & Prasad, 2022), que permitem detectar padrões discursivos enganosos e verificar dados em tempo real. Também é apresentada uma proposta que utiliza web scraping e a API do ChatGPT para facilitar a análise do conteúdo jurídico publicado na Gazeta do Registro Oficial do Equador. Conclui-se que a combinação de IA, verificação humana e educação midiática é essencial para combater a desinformação e fortalecer a confiança digital (Eysenbach, 2007; Li et al., 2023).

This study explores the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and digital credibility, focusing on fact-checking and newsworthiness. Automated tools based on natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and machine learning (Potthast et al., 2018; Lahoti & Prasad, 2022) are analyzed, which allow the detection of misleading discursive patterns and real-time data verification. The study also presents a proposal that employs web scraping and the ChatGPT API to facilitate the analysis of legal content published in the Official Gazette of Ecuador. It concludes that combining AI, human verification, and media literacy is essential to fight disinformation and strengthening digital trust (Eysenbach, 2007; Li et al., 2023).
