Considerando a importância do tema da alteridade (e das relações eu x outro) para o sistema literário de Clarice Lispector, como evidencia a fortuna crítica de sua produção, a pesquisa propõe investigar de que modo este tema e sua rede de motivos – unidades temáticas mínimas (Tomachevski, 1976) se singulariza (Chklovski, 1976) em sua obra. Este trabalho realiza a análise e a interpretação das narrativas que compõem o corpus – “A menor mulher do mundo”, “O búfalo”, “A bela e a fera”, “Perdoando Deus”, “Geleia viva” e “Um amor conquistado” –, com o objetivo de observar e descrever as diferentes modalidades que a alteridade pode assumir na obra da autora, como as relações eu x outro são concebidas e/ou acontecem. Na produção de Lispector existem modalidades de alteridades, que, em suas singularidades, constituem-se como força temática. Por isso, este trabalho analisa a natureza das relações eu x outro quando em contato com o “outro-bicho”, o “outro-coisa”, o “outro-indivíduo”, o “outro-vegetal”, o “outro-Deus”, algumas das alteridades possíveis presentes em Lispector. As referências teóricas mobilizadas atravessam a crítica literária e a filosofia, constituindo um campo de interlocução que orienta, sem determinar, o gesto de análise e de escrita do trabalho. Em consonância com a “literatura pensante” de Clarice Lispector, como escreve Evando Nascimento (2012), dialogamos com o trabalho do filósofo e crítico literário Benedito Nunes, com os estudos biográficos e críticos de Nádia Battella Gotlib, com a reflexão ensaística de Evando Nascimento, com as contribuições conceituais de Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari, especialmente no que diz respeito à escrita, ao devir, à experimentação e às relações rizomáticas. E, por fim, articulamos, ainda, as contribuições de Édouard Glissant, cuja noção de abertura e de relação permite vislumbrar, em Clarice Lispector, aberturas que escapam à totalização e à transparência.

Considering the importance of the theme of alterity (and of self–other relations) within the Clarice Lispector’s literary system, as evidenced by the critical reception of her production, the research proposes to investigate how this theme and its network of motifs - minimal thematic units (Tomachevski, 1976) are singularized (Chklovski, 1976) in her work. This study undertakes the analysis and interpretation of the narratives that comprise the corpus – "The smallest woman in the world", "The buffalo", "The beauty and the beast", "Forgiving God", "Living Jelly" and "A conquered love" – with the aim of observing and describing the different modalities that alterity may assume in the author’s work, and how self–other relations are conceived and/or happen. In Lispector’s writing there are modalities of alterities which, in their singularities, are constituted as a thematic force. Therefore, this study analyzes the nature of self–other relations when they come into contact with the "animal-other", the "thing-other", the "individual-other", the "plant-other", and the "God-other", some of the possible forms of alternations present in Lispector’s work. The theoretical references mobilized cross literary criticism and philosophy, constituting a field of interlocution that guides, without determining, the gesture of analysis and writing. In dialogue with Clarice Lispector’s "thinking literature", as written by Evando Nascimento (2012), this study dialogues with the work of Benedito Nunes, with the biographical and critical studies of Nádia Battella Gotlib, with the essayistic reflections of Evando Nascimento, and with the conceptual contributions of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, especially regarding writing, becoming, experimentation, and rhizomatic relations. Finally, the study also articulates the contributions of Édouard Glissant, whose notion of openness and relation makes it possible to glimpse, in Clarice Lispector’s work, openness that escapes totalization and transparency.
