O Articulador é um aparelho destinado a fixação dos modelos, para o registro da relação maxilo-mandibular e reprodução dos movimentos mandibulares de interesse
protético, sendo este instrumento fundamental na reabilitação oral. Com o avanço do fluxo digital na odontologia através do sistema CAD/CAM, se tornou crescente a
substituição dos meios analógicos pelo digital na rotina clínica do Cirurgião Dentista, a fim de facilitar o planejamento e execução dos casos, diminuindo assim a
sensibilidade à técnica presente nos meios analógicos. O objetivo desse trabalho foi realizar uma revisão de literatura sobre os articuladores analógicos e virtuais utilizados no cenário atual. Essa revisão selecionou 20 artigos nos bancos de dados SciELO, PubMed, Google Acadêmico entre os anos de 2000 a 2021, no qual foram utilizados as seguintes palavras-chave: “Articuladores Odontológico”; “CAD-CAM”; “Articuladores Virtuais”. Os artigos foram selecionados após a leitura do resumo e do
título de modo que foram selecionados os mais relevantes sobre o tema abordado e com o auxílio da literatura. Conclui-se que a utilização do articulador digital vem
adquirindo espaço na odontologia junto com o avanço do fluxo digital, de modo a trazer benefícios ao paciente e ao cirurgião dentista.

The Articulator is a device intended for fixing models, for recording the maxillo- mandibular relationship and reproducing mandibular movements of prosthetic
interest, this instrument being fundamental in oral rehabilitation. With the advancement of digital flow in dentistry through the CAD/CAM system, the replacement of analogue means by digital means in the clinical routine of the Dental Surgeon has become increasing, in order to facilitate the planning and execution of cases, thus reducing sensitivity to the present technique. in analogue media. The objective of this work was to carry out a literature review on analog and virtual articulators used in the current scenario. This review selected 20 articles in the SciELO, PubMed, Google Scholar databases between the years 2000 and 2021, in which the following keywords were used: “Dental Articulators”; “CAD-CAM”; “Virtual Articulators”. The articles were selected after reading the abstract and the title so that the most relevant ones on the topic covered were selected with the help of literature. It is concluded that the use of the digital articulator has been gaining ground in dentistry along with the advancement of digital flow, in order to bring benefits to the patient and the dental surgeon.
