A representação da paisagem LGBT+ de cultura pública/privada de Ourinhos: diálogos e reflexões no ambiente de cidades médias

Os eventos LGBT+ transcendem a esfera do lazer, constituindo-se como espaços de resistência, afirmação de identidades e construção de comunidades. Ao se inserirem em territórios com profundas camadas de significado cultural e histórico, esses eventos moldam a paisagem urbana, contribuindo para a formação de uma cultura pública LGBT+. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar como essa dinâmica se manifesta em cidades de médio porte, tomando como caso a cidade de Ourinhos (SP). Nesses contextos, os eventos LGBT+ frequentemente ocorrem em espaços privados, mais isolados e menos visíveis. A partir do conceito de paisagem LGBT+, que engloba tanto a esfera pública quanto a privada, exploramos a materialidade desses espaços e as formas como as festas privadas contribuem para a construção de identidades e memórias queer. Ao analisar a cidade de Ourinhos, buscamos compreender como a cultura LGBT+ se manifesta em um contexto público/privado urbano específico, onde os desafios e as possibilidades são distintos dos grandes centros urbanos. A partir da análise de eventos realizados em espaços privados, pretendemos identificar as características particulares da paisagem LGBT+ em Ourinhos, bem como as formas como essa cultura se relaciona com a cultura dominante.

Abstract (english)

LGBT+ events transcend the sphere of leisure, becoming spaces of resistance, affirmation of identities and community building. By inserting themselves into territories with deep layers of cultural and historical significance, these events shape the urban landscape, contributing to the formation of an LGBT+ public culture. This paper aims to analyze how this dynamic manifests itself in medium-sized cities, taking the city of Ourinhos (SP) as a case study. In these contexts, LGBT+ events often take place in private, more isolated and less visible spaces. Based on the concept of LGBT+ landscape, which encompasses both the public and private spheres, we explored the materiality of these spaces and the ways in which private parties contribute to the construction of queer identities and memories. By analyzing the city of Ourinhos, we sought to understand how LGBT+ culture manifests itself in a specific public/private urban context, where the challenges and possibilities are different from those of large urban centers. By analyzing events held in private spaces, we aim to identify the particular characteristics of the LGBT+ landscape in Ourinhos, as well as the ways in which this culture relates to the dominant culture.
