No contexto atual, foi necessário a odontologia protética reinventar-se diante do surgimento de novos materiais dentários e das crescentes demandas estéticas. Portanto, materiais e técnicas para restaurações provisórias e definitivas continuam evoluindo com o objetivo de produzir materiais capazes de restaurar a funcionalidade e a estética dos elementos dentários. As impressões tridimensionais (3D) estão ganhando uma ampla utilização, especialmente na Odontologia. Contudo, os estudos que investigam qual método de limpeza é mais eficaz ainda são escassos devido à recente adoção dessa tecnologia no campo odontológico. O propósito deste estudo é analisar, em uma escala microscópica, as diferenças microestruturais de diferentes resinas para restaurações definitivas impressas.
Abstract (english)
Prosthetic dentistry has had to reinvent itself in light of the emergence of new dental materials and increasing aesthetic demands. Therefore, materials and techniques for both provisional and definitive restorations continue to evolve with the goal of producing materials capable of restoring the functionality and aesthetics of dental elements. Three-dimensional (3D) printing is gaining widespread use, especially in dentistry. However, studies investigating which cleaning method is most effective are still scarce due to the recent adoption of this technology in the dental field. The purpose of this study is to analyze, on a microscopic scale, the microstructural differences of different resins for 3D-printed definitive restorations.
