Colaboração, trabalho digital e o cercamento sobre o conhecimento tecnológico

Abstract

Os cercamentos sobre o conhecimento através dos direitos de propriedade intelectual é o que a tese propõe investigar. A combinação entre privado e público sobre o conhecimento tecnológico é por nós entendida como a forma pela qual se dá a acumulação. A tese mostra que a captação das rendas sobre o conhecimento decorre da sinergia entre acesso aberto e conhecimento fechado. O cercamento sobre o conhecimento é realizado por meio de patentes e de direitos autorais. A propriedade intelectual impõe travas de acesso através de preço e de controle sobre ele. O objetivo disso é a extração de lucros a quem detêm sua posse. A hipótese desta tese é a de que a apropriação do conhecimento é uma forma de espoliação das relações sociais através da produção tecnológica. A especificidade da acumulação no capitalismo contemporâneo e o surgimento de novas tecnologias de informação e comunicação, fizeram emergir novas formas de reestruturar a produção e captar lucros. A existência de uma interação e combinação entre acesso aberto e privatização visa à circulação e à apropriação do conhecimento tecnológico pelo mercado: além disso, consiste em estratégia de apropriação do capital sobre o trabalhador vivo. No plano empírico, é analisado o site usado para o desenvolvimento de programas de computador “GitHub”. Defendemos que o conceito de renda marxiano ajuda a esclarecer a forma de se gerar lucro a partir do cercamento sobre o conhecimento.

We aim investigate the enclouseres on knowledge through intellectual property rights is what the thesis proposes to investigate. The combination of private and public on technological knowledge is understood by us as the way in which accumulation occurs. The thesis shows that the capture of income on knowledge occurs from the synergy between open access and closed knowledge. The patents and copyrigths enclouser the knowledge. Besides, the intellectual property imposes barriers of acess through price and control. The purpose of this is to extract profits from those who own them. The hypothesis of this thesis is that the appropriation of knowledge is a form of spoliation of social relations through technological production. The specificity of accumulation in contemporary capitalismo and new information and communication technologies, has given rise to new ways of restructuring production and capturing profits. The existence of an interaction and combination between open access and privatization aims at the circulation and appropriation of technological knowledge by the market: in addition, it consists of a strategy for the appropriation of capital on the living worker. Empirically, we analyse the website used for the development of computer programs “GitHub”. We argue that the concept of Marxian income helps to understand how to generate profit from the enclosure on knowledge.
