Abstract (portuguese)
O presente trabalho é fruto artístico-pedagógico de uma pesquisa multidisciplinar acerca do tempo histórico caótico no qual foi escrito. Abordando a urgência do suicídio civilizatório iminente (da Era Atômica à Emergência Climática) e a condição subjetiva do EU em meio à situação de esquizofrenia social (Era da Pós-Verdade), o trabalho tenta responder diretamente à aparente impotência humana frente ao apocalipse de nossa própria autoria.
Aproximando saberes da ciência ocidental e da filosofia budista sobre o fenômeno do observador, a reflexão textual, aliada a uma diagramação carregada de cantos paralelos, serve de base para uma performance: um encontro individual no ateliê do artista para debater os muitos pontos levantados.
Do ponto de vista científico e pedagógico, a performance se apresenta como um esboço para um laboratório do EU - defendido como uma ilusão constantemente recriada através de nossas múltiplas interações em sociedade. O espaço do encontro, uma tentativa de reinventarmo-nos coletivamente através do diálogo.
Nota Técnica: o arquivo foi feito para ser impresso, e portanto encontra-se no modo de cores CMYK. Recomendamos que a leitura virtual seja feita com um software que dê suporte a esse modo de cores para uma melhor apreciação.
Abstract (english)
The present work is the artistic and educational fruit of a multidisciplinary research on the chaotic historical period on which it's been written. Covering the urgency of the iminent civilizatory suicide (from the Atomic Age to the Climate Emergency) and the subjective condition of the "I" amid a situation of social schizophrenia (Post Truth Era), the work tries to directly answer the apparent human powerlessness before an apocalypse of our own authorship.
Approximating concepts from western science and buddhist philosophy regarding the observer phenomenon, the written remarks, allied to a design filled with parallel voices, serve as basis for a performance work: an individual encounter at the artists studio to debate the many points that are raised.
From a scientific and educational point of view, the performance comes forth as a sketch for a laboratory of the “I” - presented as an illusion, constantly recreated through our multiple social interactions. The space of the encounter, an attempt to collectively reinvent ourselves through dialogue.
