Estudo da tecnologia relativa à adaptação dual fuel em motores a combustão interna

Abstract

Com o maior rigor no controle da emissão de gases poluentes, a indústria automobilística desenvolveu tecnologias de conversão de motores que utilizam combustíveis líquidos e gasosos em conjunto. A conversão realizada não necessita de mudanças na estrutura original do motor e implica em menores custos de investimentos. Por isso, esse trabalho busca aprofundar o conhecimento envolvendo motores a combustão interna, entendendo seu funcionamento básico para maior compreensão da adaptação do motor para tecnologia dual fuel. Para isso, foi realizada uma fundamentação técnica por meio de revisão bibliográfica, expondo os componentes e suas respectivas funções dentro do sistema bicombustível.

With the greatest rigor in controlling the emission of polluting gases, the automobile industry has developed technologies for converting engines that use liquid and gaseous fuels together. The conversion carried out does not require changes to the original structure of the engine and implies lower investment costs. Therefore, in this work has been performed a study in order to deepen the knowledge involving an internal combustion engine, understanding its basic operation for a better comprehension of the adaptation of the engine to dual fuel technology. For this, a technical foundation has been made through a bibliographical review, exposing the components and their respective functions within the dual-fuel system.
