Abstract

The present work first discusses how the concept of electrochemistry came about, since this is the initial concept to be able to understand and develop the subject of fuel cells. With the basic concepts of electrochemistry, one can better understand the trajectory that the fuel cells have traversed since the beginning, where the first discoveries related to these cells are discussed, as well as the first ones that emerged, detailing the discovery, the researcher and its Importance for the development and emergence of the following cells that would appear. This work is based on the discovery of this new knowledge and goes on to the most recent discoveries, highlighting in a specific chapter the main uses of fuel cells for the benefit of the human being, causing an increase of discoveries precisely because of the advance of this type Of cell. In the final chapter, the perspectives of fuel cells are discussed for the next few years, discussing how we can advance the research. It is also discussed whether it is worth investing so much time, money, and whether it is worth pursuing larger or new sponsors to discover or extend the knowledge of the cells we have known to this day

O presente trabalho discute primeiramente como surgiu o conceito de eletroquímica, pois este é o conceito inicial para poder se entender e desenvolver o assunto células a combustível. Com os conceitos básicos da eletroquímica, pode-se compreender melhor a trajetória que as células a combustível percorreu desde do começo, onde está discutido as primeiras descobertas relacionadas a estas células, bem como as primeiras que surgiram, detalhando a descoberta, o pesquisador e sua importância para o desenvolvimento e surgimento das seguintes células que viria a aparecer. Este trabalho parte da descoberta desse novo conhecimento e segue até as descobertas mais recentes, destacando em um capítulo específico, as principais utilizações das células a combustível em benefício ao ser humano, fazendo com que haja uma ampliação de descobertas justamente por causa do avanço desse tipo de célula. No capítulo final, é discutido as perspectivas das células a combustível para os próximos anos, discutindo o modo como podemos avançar nas pesquisas. É discutido também, se vale a pena investir tanto tempo, dinheiro e se é válido buscar maiores ou novos patrocinadores para descobrir ou ampliar os conhecimentos dascélulas que temos conhecimento até os dias atuais
