Os insetos são extremamente abundantes no planeta, e possuem uma diversidade
enorme. Muito se estuda sobre a morfologia no Ensino Médio, porém a evolução
desse táxon é pouco explorada, algo que impede que o aluno compreenda a real
importância dos insetos no ecossistema e sua relação entre si com os outros seres
vivos. O Estágio Curricular Supervisionado visa dar aos alunos de licenciatura a
oportunidade de não só assistir a um professor nas atividades do seu dia a dia,
como também ministrar uma aula num tema que acharem relevante para a formação
dos alunos da escola. Por conta disso, o tema para o estágio foi a evolução dos
insetos. O estágio foi desenvolvido para o 2º ano do Ensino Médio. A metodologia
desenvolvida foi a de uma apresentação de slides para caracterizar os insetos das
várias ordens existentes, colocando-os numa árvore filogenética e evidenciando as
semelhanças morfológicas que permite colocá-los na posição que estão.
Adicionando à essa apresentação, espécimes reais foram mostrados, tanto em
insetários quanto em insetos preservados em resina. Isso permitiu que os alunos do
Ensino Médio pudessem olhar mais de perto e observar as características de cada
inseto da melhor maneira possível. Os resultados alcançados foram excelentes, com
os estagiários tendo uma ótima experiência, visível interesse dos alunos da escola
no assunto e feedback final positivo.

Insects are extremely abundant on the planet, and have an enormous diversity. A lot
is studied in college about their morphology, but the evolution of the taxon is barely
explored, something that bars the student from comprehending the real importance
of insects in the ecosystem and their relations with each other and other living
beings. Supervised Internship has the goal of giving university students the
opportunity of not only watching a teacher in their day to day activities, but also
teaching about a subject that they feel is relevant to the school's students. Because
of that, the theme chosen for the internship was the evolution of insects. The
internship was developed to the 2nd year of college. The methodology developed
was a slide presentation that characterized insects from the various existing orders
and putting them on a phylogenetic tree, evidencing the morphological similarities
that allows them to be in their position in the tree. In addition to the presentation, real
specimens were shown, both in an insectary and preserved in resin. That allowed the
college students to have a closer look on each insect in the best way possible. The
achieved results were excellent, with the interns having a great experience, visible
student interest and an overall positive feedback.
