A prática semiótica da transgressão em obras de artistas LGBTQIAPN+

Este trabalho adota a perspectiva da semiótica francesa para examinar um córpus composto de letras de música de artistas LGBTs brasileiros, a saber, Quebrada Queer (2018), da cypher Quebrada Queer, interpretada e performada por Boombeat, Tchelo et. al., A CAMINHADA, de Daniel Garcia et. al., interpretada e performada pela drag-queen Gloria Groove (2019), ABC do QQ (2022), outra letra da cypher Quebrada Queer, e Carta de Advertência, de Bixarte, com participação de Julian Santt e WinniT (2023), focando especificamente na descrição do plano do conteúdo a partir da teoria das Práticas Semióticas (Fontanille, 2008a, 2008b). A teoria utilizada se ocupa da análise de processos enunciativos que comportam ações identificáveis em situações semióticas próprias de dada cultura discursivizados na forma de textos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar comportamentos tidos como transgressores – mas também como afirmadores de uma identidade in praesentia – segundo uma grade de valores heterocisnormativa, por meio da análise de letras de músicas de artistas LGBTQIAPN+ brasileiros. Especificamente, investigam-se: (i) as estruturas narrativas e os regimes de valor; (ii) a figurativização das experiências corporificadas; e (iii) as estratégias discursivas que tensionam normas heterocisnormativas. A escolha dessas obras não se justifica apenas por seu valor estético, mas também pelo papel que exercem na promoção de representatividade e resistência no Brasil. Partindo de uma metodologia de análise de dados discursivos, a pesquisa respeita a hierarquia dos níveis de pertinência da experiência semiótica, concentrando-se, porém, no nível das práticas, em que se observam determinadas vivências sociais de pessoas LGBTQIAPN+. Parte-se da hipótese de que essas letras articulam práticas discursivas que promovem transgressões sociopolítico-culturais por meio da arte; a análise – com ênfase no nível narrativo e na teoria das práticas – confirma a hipótese: os textos figurativizam cenas do cotidiano LGBTQIAPN+ e instauram deslocamentos nos sentidos hegemônicos, reafirmando seu papel como atos transgressores

This study adopts the perspective of French semiotics to examine a corpus composed of lyrics by Brazilian LGBT artists. The analyzed lyrics include Quebrada Queer (2018), by the cypher Quebrada Queer, performed by Boombeat, Tchelo et. al., A CAMINHADA by Daniel Garcia et. al., interpreted and performed by drag queen Gloria Groove (2019), ABC do QQ (2022), another lyric from the cypher Quebrada Queer; and Carta de Advertência by Bixarte, featuring Julian Santt and WinniT (2023). The focus is specifically on the content plane based on the Theory of Semiotic Practices (Fontanille, 2008a, 2008b). The theory centers on analyzing enunciative processes that involve identifiable actions in semiotic situations unique to a given culture, discoursed in the form of texts. This study aims to identify behaviors considered transgressive—but also affirming of an in praesentia identity — within a heterocisnormative value framework by analyzing lyrics by Brazilian LGBTQIAPN+ artists. Specifically, it investigates: (i) narrative structures and regimes of value; (ii) the figurativization of embodied experiences; and (iii) discursive strategies that challenge heterocisnormative norms. The selection of these works is justified not only by their aesthetic value but also by their role in promoting representativeness and resistance in Brazil. Using a methodology for analyzing discursive data, the research respects the hierarchy of pertinence levels of semiotic experience, focusing on the level of practices, where specific social experiences of LGBTQIAPN+ individuals are observed. The hypothesis assumes that these lyrics articulate discursive practices that foster sociopolitical and cultural transgressions through art; the analysis — with an emphasis on the narrative level and practice theory — confirms the hypothesis: the texts depict scenes from LGBTQIAPN+ everyday life and create shifts in hegemonic meanings, reaffirming their role as transgressive acts
