Sistemas de organização do conhecimento com foco em ontologias e taxonomias

Abstract

Covers the Systems of Knowledge Organization with emphasis on ontologies and taxonomies as viable alternatives to the Knowledge Organization in web environments. Is aimed at presenting two systems of organization Ontology and Taxonomy as objects based on the Knowledge Organization and Representation and demonstrates theoretical conjectures for these systems in the Archival and Library. This is characterized as theoretical study, the literature search was conducted with periodicals and books of national and international areas of Information Science and Computer Science. The main results show that ontologies and taxonomies are systems relating to the knowledge organization and information in complex of concepts and shall apply the KO and KR that have the same intention. It is considered that the SKOs are semantic structured conceptual systems which assist in the standardization of terminology and contribute to the processes of organization and information retrieval as much as in Archival and Library.
