Abstract (english)
Regarding the importance of events in oureveryday lives, this work was developed aiming at the planning of the Pre Inter Bauru 2018. In the mentioned event, we highlight the importance of a public relations professional in both stages of action: before and during the planning, showing their abilities and skills, values and strategic vision. For this purpose, we applied as methodological tools: the bibliographical research, depth interview with professionals with expertise in the field, especially those with experience in university events in Bauru and all the and all the region, since it was possible to take part in the planning and execution during the whole process, being a integral part of the organization of the analyzed event.

Tomando como base a importância que os eventos possuem na atualidade, este trabalho foi desenvolvido visando a realização do planejamento do Pré Inter Bauru 2018. Nesse evento, evidenciamos a importância do profissional de Relações Públicas na atuação antes e durante o planejamento, expondo seus devidos diferenciais, valores e visões estratégicas. Para tanto, utilizamos como instrumentos metodológicos: a pesquisa bibliográfica, entrevista em profundidade com profissionais que atuam na área de eventos universitários em Bauru e região, e a observação participante, uma vez que foi possível vivenciar o planejamento e execução durante todo o processo, sendo parte integrante da gestão organizadora do evento analisado.
