O projeto tem como objetivo fornecer informações para compreender que a população idosa está em crescimento, e por esse motivo é necessário conhecer quem são essas pessoas, o que elas precisam e se possuem condições financeiras e sociais de sanar suas necessidades. Analisou-se aqui as temáticas seguintes: A moda inclusiva e seu impacto social, com o intuito de entender como a moda se relaciona com a democratização do vestuário para o público alvo de mulheres idosas; Alterações no corpo humano a partir de sua faixa etária, o que pode acarretar dificuldades no dia a dia antes não identificadas; O padrão de moda conforme a história, para entender o que as idosas possam gostar e como o senso de estilo pode ter sido influenciado; A Importância da inclusão social na moda, com o intuito de entender a relação da moda e sociedade; e Padrão de beleza e identidade, fator importante que influencia a maneira como o indivíduo se vê na sociedade. Por meio do levantamento bibliográfico e entrevistas qualitativas com o público alvo, sua leitura e análise foi feita possibilitando a criação de uma estrutura teórica elaborada a fim de entender a relação entre moda e mulheres idosas, sociedade, inclusão social e suas possíveis barreiras.

The project aims to provide information to understand that the elderly population is growing, and for this reason it is necessary to know who these people are, what they need and whether they have the financial and social conditions to meet their needs. The following themes were analyzed here: Inclusive fashion and its social impact, with the aim of understanding how fashion relates to the democratization of clothing for the target audience of elderly women; Changes in the human body depending on the age group, which can cause difficulties in daily life that were previously unidentified; The fashion pattern according to history, to understand what elderly women may like and how their sense of style may have been influenced; The importance of social inclusion in fashion, with the aim of understanding the relationship between fashion and society; and Standard of beauty and identity, an important factor that influences the way an individual sees themselves in society. Through bibliographical research and qualitative interviews with the target audience, reading and analysis were carried out, enabling the creation of a theoretical structure designed to understand the relationship between fashion and elderly women, society, social inclusion and its possible barriers.
