Abstract (portuguese)
Este trabalho tem por objetivo geral analisar as crises financeiras ao longo da história do capitalismo, encontrando e explicando as características comuns entre elas. Mais afundo, estudar-se-á manias e bolhas, e suas particularidades que vieram a causar pânicos na economia. O período analisado será de toda a história do capitalismo, desde sua primeira bolha, em 1636, até os dias atuais, discorrendo sobre o momento, local e causa das principais crises. Em seguida será estudado as causas comuns a todas as crises, a expansão do crédito, e o porquê. Por fim, o último capitulo tratará do que foi feito para que crises e choques sejam evitados, com uma conclusão sobre os dias atuais e as chances de um choque ocorrer na economia, assim como seus possíveis impactos
Abstract (english)
The general purpose of this paper is to analyze the financial crises over the time of capitalism, to find and to explain the common characteristics between them. Furthermore, we will see manias and bubbles, their particularities and why they caused panic in the economy. The period analyzed covers all history of capitalism, since its first bubble, in 1636 until nowadays, explaining the moment, the cause and the local of the main crises. Subsequently, it will be studied the common causes in every crises, the expansion of credit. Finally, the last chapter will cover what has been done to avoid new chocks and crises with a conclusion about now days and what are the chances to a chock to occur in the economy, as their possible impacts
