As atividades curriculares desportivas de alto rendimento e suas relações com o ensino do esporte na escola: perspectivas de professores de Educação Física

Abstract

Em 2001 a Secretaria da Educação de São Paulo extingue as Turmas de Treinamento por conta da criação das Atividades Curriculares Desportivas (ACDs). Neste novo modelo, o foco voltou-se para a promoção da cidadania e a democratização do ensino da Educação Física sem colocar em pauta o rendimento. Em 2021, uma nova Resolução da Secretaria Estadual de Educação passa a orientar as antigas Atividades Curriculares Desportivas (ACDs), envolvendo várias mudanças, incluindo sua nomenclatura. Agora, como Atividades Curriculares Desportivas e Artísticas (ACDAs) surge a possibilidade da realização de turmas de ACDAs de alto rendimento esportivo. Diante de tal cenário, o objetivo da presente pesquisa foi identificar e analisar as perspectivas dos professores de Educação Física que não desenvolvem as turmas de ACDs de alto rendimento. A pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa de caráter descritivo, utilizou-se a entrevista como técnica de coleta. Os participantes foram 10 professores de Educação Física que não desenvolviam turmas de ACDAs de alto rendimento. A partir da análise dos dados, identificamos três categorias: 1) Dificuldades para abrir turmas de ACDAs de alto rendimento, onde podemos destacar que os professores apontaram dificuldades com relação a material e estrutura; 2) As influências dos Jogos Escolares para a abertura de turmas de ACDA de alto rendimento, de maneira que os professores apontaram forte relação entre o JEESP e as ACDAs; 3) Perspectivas sobre o ensino da Educação Física na escola e as ACDAs de alto rendimento, na qual os professores apontaram incongruências entre a BNCC e Currículo Paulista com relação as ACDAs de alto rendimento e o JEESP. Podemos apontar a valorização das competições escolares; incentivo à competitividade com base em processos seletivos de alguns estudantes e excludentes de muitos deles. Há com isso incongruências entre as ACDAs de alto rendimento com relação as propostas da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) e o Curriculo Paulista o que tem sido preconizado para as aulas regulares de Educação Física. Assim, podemos concluir que a política pública educacional estatual contribui para a criação das incongruências que segue alimentando os desafios do ensino da Educação Física, historicamente marcado pela exclusividade esportiva.

In 2001, the São Paulo State Departament of Education abolished the training classes due to the creation off the Sports Curriculum Activities (SCAs). In this new model, the focus shifted toward the promoting citizenship and the democratization the teaching of Physical Education, without emphaszing performance. In 2021, a new resolution from the State Departament of Education redefined the former Sports Curriculum Activities (SCA), introducing several changes, including a new designation. Now called to as Sports and Artistics Curriculum Activities (SACAs), the program includes the possibility of establishing high-performance sports-oriented SACA classes. Given this context, the objetective of the present study was to identify and analyze the perspectives of Physical Education teachers who do not conduct high-performance (SACAs) classes. From the data analysis, three categories emerged: (1) Difficulties in establishing high-performance SACAs classes, where we can highlight that the teachers pointed out difficulties regarding materials and infrastructure; (2) The influence of School Games on the creation of high- performance SACAs classes, in such a way that the teachers indicated a strong relationship between JEESP and the SACAs; and (3) Perspectives on Physical Education teaching at school and high-performance SACAs, in which the teachers pointed out inconsistencies between the BNCC and the Currículo Paulista in relation to the high-performance ACDAs and the JEESP. The findings highlight the valorization of school competitions and the encouragement of competitiveness based on selective processes that favor some students while excluding many others. There are, therefore, inconsistencies between the high-performance ACDAs and the proposals of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the Currículo Paulista regarding what is recommended for regular Physical Education classes. Thus, we can conclude that the state educational public policy contributes to the creation of these inconsistencies, which continue to reinforce the challenges of Physical Education teaching, historically marked by a focus on sports exclusivity.
