The number of patients was 8,921 before and 10,450 after the implementation of regulation. The study was approved by the institution's Research Ethics Committee. Results: there was a prevalence of resident population of the municipality of Botucatu, male with a mean age of 40 years, who entered the service due to fracture, trauma, heart disease and stroke with a mean time of regulation of 1 hour, 43 minutes and 48 seconds.
