ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL INDICES: CASE STUDY OF SPORT CLUB CORINTHIANS PAULISTA IN THE PERIOD FROM 2008 TO 2013

In recent decades, football clubs have come to understand that they need to worry about the aspects related to its capital structure and liquidity in order to manage efficiently the resources for maximizing financial results. This study had as main objective analyze the financial indicators of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista from 2008 to 2013 aiming to characterize your financial situation. The results of the study showed that despite having high debt level and low level of solvency in the period, Sport Club Corinthians Paulista showed improvements in rates of Composition of Debt and Liquidity General, consequences of the adoption of long-term debt.
